Thalaivaa, first Tamil Movie in Dolby Atmos!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thalaivaa has become the first Tamil film to get a touch of Dolby Atmos! Earlier, Superstar Rajinikanth's Sivaji 3D was mixed and re-released in Dolby Atmos. Thalaivaa, directed by Vijay, is all set to hit screens on August 9. The also stars Sathyaraj and Amala Paul in lead roles. Produced by Sri Mishri Productions' Chandraprakash Jain, the movie is expected to beat Vijay's Thuppaki records. (Also Read: Thalaivaa Movie Songs Review)

Serene, SPI Cinemas is the first theatre in India to have Dolby Atmos. Cinemas has also announced 37 Atmos installations, which makes it the single largest deployment of Atmos in the world.
